WOW, What a Day!!

Today, we had some great scoring with Brenda Kositzka and Susan Roskey having exceptional days.  Both were +10 and Brenda shot a 76.  Great golfing!!!


Now on to the rest of us.  There were five chip-ins:

The Closest-to-the Pin contests were won by Tina Thees (#6) and Mary Fisher (#17)


Bobby paid four places in each of two flights.

Next week, the event will be Low Gross/Low Net since the Mixed Member/Member has been rescheduled.  Unfortunately, this will be the last post for two weeks as I will be heading to the cold for a couple weeks.  Also, keep in mind that we will be looking for some members to run for office for the 2012-2013 Ladies League.  Ideally, it would be nice to have our new officers in place by April 1.

Winners, winners and more winners!!

We had quite a few winners on this Stableford Flights day.  First, the chip-ins -- Rosemary Oxenham, Nancy Gianetti, Judy Hlavacek, Juli Weeks and Jane Taylor all had one chip-in.  Sue Weiner and Yuri Shinohara had 2 chip-ins each.  Way to go, ladies.  Rosemary Oxenham (for another win) won Closest-to-the-Pin on #6 and our beloved president, Mary Fisher, won Closest-to-the-Pin on #17.

Low Gross-Low Net

Unfortunately, Bobby felt the scheduled team event just wouldn't work out so we had a Low Gross-Low Net Event.  There were two flights.  The lower handicap ladies competed in the Low Net competition and the higher handicap ladies competed in the Low Gross competition.  And the winners were.....

                   2nd place Brenda Kositzka
                   3rd place Judy Gordon

Low Gross -> 1st place Rosemary Oxenham
                      2nd place Barbara Warren
                      3rd place Georgina Richardson

The Closest-to-the-Pin prizes went to Sue Weiner on #6 and Deb Pfrogner on #17.
